How to Return an Item?
At DAVIDHardware Inc., we are committed to making every shopping experience enjoyable and seamless for you. While most of our products are backed by reliable manufacturer warranties—and our team is always happy to assist you prior to your purchase—we understand that, at times, you may still need to return or exchange an item. The following outlines our detailed procedures regarding returns, order cancellations, warranty services, and the handling of logistics-related issues. Return Policy
We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your purchase from DAVIDHardware Inc. We strive to provide high-quality products and services, but we also understand that returns are sometimes unavoidable. Below is our return process and a list of important considerations:
All returns require prior authorization. Any returned merchandise that does not clearly display a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) number on the exterior of the package will be refused.
To obtain an RMA number, please call us. Please have your invoice number ready before calling. An RMA number is valid for 14 days from the date of issuance. Return requests submitted without an accompanying RMA number will not be processed.
To qualify for a refund or store credit, returned items must be in "like-new" condition and include all original packaging, manuals, warranty cards, and accessories. Return shipping and insurance costs must be prepaid by the customer, unless the return is due to a shipping error on our part or the item was defective upon receipt (provided the defect was not caused by damage during transit). The RMA number must be clearly marked on the exterior of the shipping box.
We cannot accept returns for items that show signs of use, visible damage, or missing accessories. Returned items must be properly repackaged to prevent damage during transit. Returns lacking original packaging or original accessories will not be accepted. Returned items must be received by us within 30 days of the original shipment date to be eligible for a refund or exchange (the specific resolution will be determined at our sole discretion).
If your item is damaged during transit, please contact the shipping carrier immediately and have your tracking number ready. If the outer packaging of the parcel shows visible signs of damage, please notify the delivery personnel before signing for the package and request that they note the condition. Please retain all packaging materials for potential future inspection.
Important Notes:
Shipping charges are non-refundable (including shipping costs incurred due to the refusal of a package).
Depending on the condition of the item and the reason for the return, a minimum restocking fee may apply in certain cases. If such a fee applies, we will notify you separately during the return authorization process.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
